Joan M. Bills


Joan M. Bills, 67, of Boston Heights, passed away March 2, 2003.

She was born in Kingwood, W. Va., and had been an area resident for the last 28 years. She was retired after 18 years from Snow Metal.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bills; mother, Gertrude Heffner; father, Oscar Moore; stepfather, Addison Heffner; and brothers, Ralph and James Moore, she is survived by her children, Jenny (William) Noah of Bedford Heights, Colleen Everly of Hudson, David (Diane) Crummitt of Bedford Heights, Henry (Lisa) Crummitt of Cincinnati, and Nick (Julie) Saterides of Columbus; stepchildren, Barry (Sharron) Bills of Lehighton, Pa., and Larry Bills of New York, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister, Jessie (Fred) Barthelmy of Grafton, W. Va.; and brother, Arthur (Ann) Moore of Grafton, W. Va.

Joan loved flowers, gardening, wildlife, crocheting afghans, her dogs, bingo, and the lottery. She would do anything for anybody.

Calling hours will be Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Dunn-Quigley Ciriello & Carr Falls Chapel (Portage Trail at Eighth Street), where funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m., with Rev.
