Edward A. Blaskis, age 86 of Boston Heights, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023. Edward was born April 22, 1937 to the late Anthony E. and Eva (nee Derus).
In addition to his parents, he is predeced in death by his beloved wife Barbara L. Blaskis (nee Berhent), and his brother James Blaskis. He is survived by his loving children, Steve (Cindy) Blaskis and Michele (Mark) Talani; dear grandchildren, Anthony Samuel Blaskis and Matthew Edward Talani, and sister Barbara McPherson.
Edward enjoyed travelling with his family visiting many of the National Parks, skiing many of the resorts in Colorado and Utah and golfing on many golf courses throughout the United States. He was an Engineer who worked for Harshaw Chemical, Technicare and Invacare for many years. He had a love for automobiles and restored a few for his personal use. When he retired, he volunteered at the Crawford Auto Museum Restoration Center helping to restore classic and vintage vehicles.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
