• The area planned for this major league stadium complex is along Twinsburg Road east of Route 8.
  This is northwest of the Ashbrooke West neighborhood.
• Reportedly, the plan may include facilities in Boston Heights, south of Twinsburg Road.
• According to current plans for the Route 8 upgrade project 2007-2011, there will be no interchange at Twinsburg Road. That means most access to this stadium site from the south will be through Boston Heights, either on Olde Eight and Walters Roads, and/or via proposed north-south marginal road running parallel to Route 8, north from Hines Hill Road.

PUBLIC HEARING SET FOR PROPOSED STADIUM

The Northfield Center Township Board of Trustees will conduct a Public Hearing on March 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the informational meeting is to afford the public an opportunity to discuss the possible construction of a Sports Complex and Retail Facility on the northeast corner of the intersection of State Route 8 and East Twinsburg Road in Northfield Center, Ohio.

Representatives from the Summit Port Authority will participate.

The Public Hearing will be held in the Multi Purpose Room of Northfield Elementary School, located at 9374 Olde Eight Road in Northfield Center, Ohio.
