Heights Oct. 3 at Village Firehouse
LOUISVILLE, KY – Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Army Reserve
will host a town hall meeting Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Firehouse in Boston Heights, Ohio, to provide
information and answer questions on the proposed Reserve Center to be constructed at Olde Eight Road just south of
East Hines Hill Road.
Maj. Mike Kiene, from the Office of Chief Army Reserve, will present to the audience what activities will be
done on the property, examples of similar centers and what they look like, and why the Army chose the Boston
Heights’ location. After the presentation, audience members will be invited to ask questions to representatives from the
U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
“We want everyone to know they are welcomed to attend the meeting, see the presentations and ask questions,” said
Joe Gates, project manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
